Turtle Island Fiji

Turtle Island is a dream come true - but better. My husband and I were gifted a week here for our honeymoon. We were stuffed to the gills with good food, good activities, and great company. It is a good experience to have an attentive staff - it is a special experience to be loved by them. Five stars is too few to give to Turtle Island and the people who run it, but it’ll have to do for this review. We hope to be back one day!

We don’t give out five stars easily! Turtle Island Resort is, in a word, unforgettable - meant in the best way possible!
As incredible as the accommodations, food & drink, private beaches, the water, & the activities were, the staff was on a whole ‘nother level! Most genuinely loving, happy group of human beings we have ever encountered.
Also worth noting, the activities brought the guests together as often as you’d like and or not and we got to meet and know several other couples from different parts of the world which was an added bonus.
Just a superbly run and most beautiful resort. Loved every minute of it! Vinaka!

We would recommend Turtle Island to anyone looking for an intimate, romantic getaway but also looking to meet new friends/family from across the world! Like so many guests before us, we cried when we had to say goodbye to the beautiful staff and our Bure Mama Wati. From the moment they carry you off the plane to the moment you leave, you feel the love and warmth of the Turtle Island family. It is so customizable to what you want whether it is the food, the interaction with others, picnic lunches on the beaches, spa time or just quiet time in your bure. Turtle Island is paradise and we can’t wait to go back again! Vinaka!

There are so many beautiful places in the world and Turtle is one of those places. What sets Turtle apart from other places is the Fijian people. Every time we leave, we leave a piece of our heart there too!

From the moment my wife and I stepped onto the emerald beaches of Turtle Island, we were welcomed into a breathtaking sanctuary that was like a dream sprung to life! This resort is an oasis of love and luxury, perfectly nestled in the arms of Fiji's natural beauty.

But you know what truly enchanted us? The heartwarming people who treated us like we were part of their own family. Mama Elle, your nurturing spirit made us feel like cherished kin. Brother Maika, you're the brother we never knew we needed, always ensuring we were beyond comfortable.

Oh, and let's not forget Manager Yogita! You're the backbone of this paradise, orchestrating an experience that sings of excellence. Speaking of singing, our taste buds were serenaded by the culinary masterpieces of Great Chef Benni. Each dish was a symphony of flavor!

And, oh, the gift store! A treasure trove run by the delightful Mere, who guided us to find souvenirs that captured the very soul of Fiji. Then there's Barman Bose, the mixologist maestro who turned every cocktail into a liquid sunset.

Bill, you're the laughter guru! Your hearty laughs were the delightful soundtrack to our perfect days.

But the icing on the cake, quite literally, was my wife's surprise birthday cake. Crafted by the talented team, it was stunning—a work of art that tasted as divine as it looked. It turned an already extraordinary trip into a milestone celebration we'll never forget!

Leaving Turtle Island was the hardest goodbye, but we're comforted knowing that we're not leaving a resort; we're saying "see you later" to our newfound family. Thank you, Turtle Island, for making our stay an unforgettable chapter in the love story of our lives. We'll be back, and that's a promise!

There are not enough words to describe this incredible place, people, and experience. Hands down the BEST experience of my life. Turtle Island is magical. The staff is not staff… they are family. They are the epitome of giving, heart, love, care, and what above and beyond is all about.

The heart of turtle island is the staff. From the moment you step off the plane, you become a part of the turtle family. Hugs and smiles all day and the only rule on the island is to smile and keep smiling. The location is one of the most beautiful places with private beaches.

Lovely everything! Improve the meals a notch, some staff when ordering food do not understand sometime what your asking for. Sometimes there is a long delay.

Magical holiday on Turtle Island. Food and service outstanding. Being part of the Turtle family again was such a joy for us and we will be back.

Once Discovered, Never Forgotten! Such a beautiful place to relax, do lots or do nothing, rest and recover from the busyness and stresses of our overactive lives. Thank you for providing a delightful place to rest and relax.

Wow! Turtle Island was an amazing experience. There are so many things to say but the most important one is the people. Upon
arrival via seaplane we were greeted like family. We spent 10 glorious days and everyday was a unique fun adventure made perfect by the Turtle staff. There are so many people to highlight and thank. We will start with Mama V, our bure mama. Her gentle kind loving nature made our experience wonderful. Anytime we needed something, she was there smiling continuously. We love you Mama V. The culinary staff was superb. They prepared every meal with fresh island ingredients from lobster scrambled eggs, to fresh chicken curry, and many more delectable extraordinary creations. Lema and Sai, our bar staff were always smiling while making our cocktails. They became our friends. The activity staff (Erami, Meiki, Bari, Crazy Joe, Jerry, Ere, and all the other guys took great care of us. Fishing, picnic adventures, sunset cruises, frisbee, snorkeling, and cave swimming were all a part of our great days with these wonderful people. Grace, Lisi, and Sara were always there for every meal anticipating our every wish. Thanks so much to this great group of ladies. We miss your smiling faces. And everyone else we met at nightly kava ceremonies, we will always remember our Turtle family and a trip of a lifetime. The leadership of Bill, Bale, and Mere was outstanding. These folks were there all the time with their smiling faces, helpful attitude, and genuine love. Lastly, the care you receive from the time you land in Nadi by the mainland staff of Peter, Peter (pilot) and Nia to the time your dropped off to return home is part of the exceptional experience. Turtle Island is a specular experience; truly a 5 star experience. Bill, Bale and the Turtle Island staff’s #1 goal is to ensure you feel a part of the Turtle Family. The connection between the Turtle staff and visitors is special. We stayed in Bure 3, the private outdoor shower/tub was amazing! Our Bure Mama was Elle - if we asked Elle to get something in our Bure or schedule a spa appointment, private beach, offsite dinner or lunch…she made it happen.

The food and drink is memorable! Cappuccino, bloody Mary’s, juice smoothies … all delicious. Rups, Selema and Sai anticipated our wishes and remembered our groups favorites.

Turtle Island’s Chef and team make the most delicious food. The sauces, pairings were amazing; most of the vegetables and fruit are grown on the island. Just fabulous! And, desserts and pastries! Morning chocolate croissants, muffins - plus breakfast choices. Lunch was always fun. If you are off to a private beach, you are presented with delicious lunch options — packaged up for your private picnic.

The sea plane terrific! The Kava nights are special, the songs will make you laugh.

It is amazing how everyone on the island knows your name and greets with an infectious smile!

It’s hard to put into words the spectacular experience one gets when on Turtle Island. It was one of the best vacations we have taken. There is nothing in the world like time spent on Turtle Island. The staff is top-notch, the accommodations luxurious, the private beaches pristine and the other guests we met we can now call friends.

The Turtle Island experience exceeded all expectations. The staff, cuisine, service, activities, culture and private beaches really magnify the magic and charm of the island. You’ll leave with a very full heart, a deeper connection with your partner and an entirely new Fijian family. We can’t wait to get back one day! Vinaka vaka levu.

All-inclusive resort on an island in beautiful Fiji! Private beaches, fine dining, and highly personalized service steeped in the best Fijian culture and hospitality. Only 14 couples can be on the island at any time and as a testament to how special this place is 10 were repeat guests like us.

My wife and I along with another couple went for a 8 day stay, 3 years ago and fell in love with everything! I especially loved the "board room" meetings at sunset. My wife loved high tide with her sitting on the steps of our Bure and her feet in the ocean.

The Fijian staff hospitality is out of this world, and don't forget the Sunday night (I think) movie showing the blue lagoon movie filmed on the island.

The private beaches, the waters edge evening dining and bar, food should be Michelin Rated!

We head back in 17 days for a 10 night stay and can not wait!
