Beqa Adventure Divers reviews
47 Amazing dive centre! I was fortunate enough to dive 8 straight days with Beqa, which included 6 x shark dives - the 1st one my best dive of all time.
Lots of other coral dives with various attractions - swim throughs, caves, a wreck, all with sharks swimming around.
There are 100 world class dive spots around Fiji, but this shark dive tops the list (imo).
Do it.
I had a great dive today with the crew from BAD. We saw plenty of sharks and i felt safe the whole way through. Very professional and kind. Thanks!
Wow, such a surreal experience. It was absolutely incredible being so close to these amazing animals, and felt like I was in a dream. I felt safe the whole time with great dive masters watching over us. The ratio of dive master to divers was very high, meaning they were able to keep a nice watchful eye on everyone. The staff were incredibly friendly. I would highly recommend this company and experience!
Truly mind blowing
Once in a life time experience.
Professional, safe, fun.
Special relationship with sharks.
Once in a lifetime experience. Very remarkable how well trained and coordinated the staff is. Also the boat was equiped with a high number of safety equipment.it has been q while since I gäfelt so save on a dive
This shark dive was awesome. I was a less experienced diver but Cody was assigned to me and made every aspect of the dive go smoothly. If you want to see a lot of sharks' and be close and personal with them but yet feel safe then this dive is for you.
Trying to plan my dives with them a couple of months before the D day. Great communication… until I am asked to provide my credit card details to confirm booking (I refused). Since then, they just DISAPPEARED. Whatsapp, email, instagram: ZERO follow-up (& for months!) while other customers are getting answers.
@Beqa dive: Just be respectful of your potential customers and act w respect and professionalism. Looks like those notions are unknown to you.
I will dive w another centre and you wont get my business. Ciao
Great open dive with Bill Sharks, lemon sharks and black tips. I felt very safe and the crew were excellent.
It was exciting to see 5 different shark species. The dive crew were attentive and maintained safety.
Excellent, professional dive shop! Well maintained equipment. Knowledgeable and passionate crew. A truly 5-star experience! Highly recommended!
What an experience! Can't believe how close but also how safe I felt for both the 30 m dives. Testament to the effort the legends; Malakai, Tui, Junior & Ace put in to make us feel comfortable.
Amazing dive with an even better crew! Made me feel safe the entire time and encouraged me to move closer when I was a bit nervous. You can tell these guys appreciate sharks and have a huge love for them. Thanks for making it a great for us. We’ll be back. Vinaka!
A highly professional and well run dive operation. They put your safety above anything else and the shark feed experience is simply incredible.
A special mention to Sydney, Earl, Silio and Ace for being a great crew to be around.
Do not do a shark dive with anyone other than Beqa Adventure Divers.
Thank you to the team at Beqa Adventure Divers! The group of 7 of us thoroughly enjoyed our experience and felt extremely safe throughout as the DMs properly briefed us and was always on guard through the dive.
We saw sooo many sharks! No tiger sharks but the bull sharks, white tip, black tip, lemon sharks more than sufficed.
Experience was amazing and definitely once in a life time! Highly recommend this dive experience & team if you’re at Fiji.
Absolutely amazing experience and would 100% recommend going with them. Felt safe in their hands and with the equipment provided.
The first dive was down to 30 meters and got to see probably about 15 sharks. Upon returning to the surface we were given a warm drink and biscuits which was greatly appreciated.
The staff were super friendly and kept checking on me to see if i was ok, as i was a bit cold after the first dive.
The second dive was even better than the first with and even closer encounter with the sharks. The staff were right behind us with rounded metal poles to gently nudge the sharks away if they got to close to us.
Apart from the sharks, we were shown some corals on the way back up to the surface which were beautiful and broke up the shark dive a bit.
We drove for 1.5 hours each way from Sigatoka to do this dive and would do so again in a heartbeat. Overall an amazing experience and was definitely the highlight of the holiday.
That was amazing! The most remarkable dive we've ever had!
I couldn't name it "scuba diving", more like a "diving experience" since you mostly lie on sand or stay still.
It was felt safe and calm for some reason. We never experienced any danger, even though the sharks got very close!
The group was about 15 divers from 2 boats. The first is the best. It's hard to beat that experience, when in front of you hundreds of huge sharks are trying to bite delicious piece of a tuna head.
Perhaps, the most exciting part was jumping in water for the first time when you don't know what to expect.
We were told that the best time to go for a shark dive is during a dry season, since the visibility is pretty amazing. We went in November, the vis was good, but not like 30-50 meters as it could be according to the local instructors.
Amazing adventure. Thank you. Drive trip still went ahead even though I was the only guest. Super friendly crew and helpful in booking the dive. Will definitely do it again if I get the opportunity.
I first did the shark dive with BAD about 8 years ago, and have been bragging about it to my friends ever since. I was stoked to have the opportunity to go again this weekend, and it was just as amazing as (even better than?) I remembered, so I’m glad that my bragging will be able to continue.
There was lots of laughter on the boat and all of the divemasters were very friendly & knowledgeable about the sharks and other fish on the reef.
The shark dive itself felt super safe and was incredible. We saw probably about 10 or so bulls, a few lemons and a whole lot of reef sharks. The bulls are natural entertainers and love dodging at the last moment to snag a good tuna head. You’re a safe distance away but still nice and close to the action - though the divemasters will be sitting behind you with long metal poles to nudge any sharks that are a little too curious away.
The soft coral/wreck dive is perhaps a little less exciting but still fantastic - healthy reefs full of beautiful corals & a big variety of fish (clownfish, groupers, parrot fish, angel fish, triggerfish, lion fish… lots to look at!).
Vinaka vakalevu BAD, I will definitely be back!
I had a fantastic time doing the shark dive with Beqa Adventure Divers. The team were fantastic- we had more divemasters than customers, and the guys were all very on the ball feeding and observing the sharks.
The dive is a MUST if you’re in Fiji. All drama high octane shark action; you’re likely see 30+ bull sharks, tawny nurse, lemons, black tips and if you’re lucky like we were, a big beautiful tiger shark or two.
The booking process was super easy and team have that relaxed Fijian attitude. Wais was brilliant over email and a super fun guy- all the divemasters Hapi and Wasi too, thanks for a great trip.
Beqa Adventure Divers is the company we used to do shark dives at the Shark Reef Marine Preserve. We did 2 dives and saw around 50 sharks- lemon, bull, tawny nurse sharks, reef sharks. We unfortunately didn’t see any tigers. But the experience was very cool, unlike any other dive I’ve been on! For the first dive, you go down to 30 m- they do some hand feeding and then have a trash can full of tuna heads that they open and the sharks go crazy for it! You then go to 15 m- they do more hand feeding. Lastly, you stop at 4 m for more hand feeding.
The second dive, you just go down to 15 m and they bring out the trash can and tuna heads again. Then you do your safety stop at 4 m and can see a few reef sharks swimming around while you wait.
The whole experience felt very safe! They make sure everyone is okay on air and in a safe position the whole time. When you are kneeling and watching, there are staff behind you with poles to push the sharks away if they get too close. I never felt unsafe, which made the experience much more enjoyable!
