My experience with Whale's Tale Cruises Fiji was nothing short of exceptional. From start to finish, every aspect of the journey was simply fantastic.

Firstly, the staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly, making us feel right at home the moment we stepped on board. Their knowledge of the local marine life, especially the whales, was impressive and added immense value to the trip.

The cruise itself was breathtaking. The pristine waters of Fiji provided a stunning backdrop as we ventured out to sea. The captain and crew ensured a smooth and comfortable ride, allowing us to relax and fully immerse ourselves in the beauty of the surroundings.

The highlight, of course, was witnessing the majestic whales in their natural habitat. The crew's dedication to responsible whale watching was evident as they maintained a respectful distance, prioritizing the well-being of these incredible creatures while still affording us an unforgettable view. It was a truly humbling and awe-inspiring experience.

The amenities on board were top-notch, and the refreshments provided were delightful, complementing the overall experience perfectly.

What a way to spend the day! From champagne breakfast, great crew, comfortable outdoor seating, beautiful private isand with amazing snorkeling (all gear provided), buffet lunch, drinks all day, kava ceremony ad hotel transfers! I highly recommend this one! Captain Mike and his crew were superb-especially Nade who held this scared swimme'rs hand the whole time while snorkeling! Thank you all so very much!

What a wonderful day! We enjoyed the time on the schooner a lot. It‘s not one of these super fancy boats, but it’s authentic and honest. We appreciate that a lot. Snorkeling at the tiny little island was fantastic. So many colorful fish! Great food, free drinks, nice people, perfect weather! Couldn’t get much better!

Wonderful experience and great day on the Schooner Island that is exclusively for Whales Tales cruises. The whole trip was engaging, crew was lovely, attentive and entertained us by singing songs on our way back. Best time in Fiji so far.

Such a fun day! Boarding the schooner and being serenaded by the crew was the perfect start to the voyage. Food and drinks while you set sail for Savala island where you are met with white sand and some great snorkeling. The varieties of fish and the coral reef of the island you could spend days or there and still not see everything. Lunch is provided and is excellent. Mike and the crew do everything they can to make sure you have an enjoyable time.

I went on Whales Tale in March with a girlfriend and we had such a great day. I had previously been on it twice before but that was about 12 years ago.

With so many different tour options these days it was tricky to choose but I’m so happy we went with Whales Tale. It’s such good value with food and drinks included.

The staff are lovely, the island is beautiful and the food is yummy. I would recommend it to anyone.

We went on this cruise yesterday. Awesome crew. Spectacular views. Food was yum. Swimming was great. What an amazing day, thank you.

2/14/23 We arrived at the port after a 1.5 hour drive from our hotel. Upon arriving, the day cruise we were booked with was not open and apparently canceled the cruise for the day without notifying us. We were pretty angry since that was the one day that we could go on a cruise and were departing a couple of days later. We spoke to a competitor and they in turn directed us to Whales Tale which saved the day and we did get to go out on the ocean and to their isle. The weather was very rainy most of the day but the crew broke out the guitar and was signing songs on the out and on the way back. We had lunch on the isle where snorkeling was available and fish feeding. They took time to explain the sites etc.and were really approachable and would offer to get drinks and dispose of items while on the ship. We had a great time in spite of the weather and because of the crew. Thank you Whales Tale!

This is a wonderful trip that I highly recommend. We were picked up at the hotel and cared for until we got back. Free drinks and performed music on the way to the island and on the way back. The crew was brilliant and very friendly. The power snorkeling is worth it, you get a guide taking you around the coral and pointing out interesting things. We met some wonderful people on that trip that we will never forget. My expectations were highly exceeded. This is a great trip for adults and children that I would highly recommend.

Wonderful experience. Our family of 4 had a real good time. Crew members were very friendly. They played guitar and sang melodious songs both ways. They even organized volleyball on the little island. I and my daughter walked around the island, which took exactly 5 minutes.

A truly awesome experience! The crew are entertaining! They make the snorkeling and boat ride so much more fun than expected, and the food was good also!

This cruise and island trip was a disappointing experience to me, since I booked it after viewing so many positive reviews online on different platforms. However, my parernts, who did not come with expectations, enjoyed the trip. I’ll explain why:

1. As another customer (who gave 1 star below) mentioned in his/her review, a number of things promised in the brochure/tour description were missing on the boat, such as Wifi, friendly staff, delicious buffet morning tea and afternoon tea.

2. I have seen reviews saying the staff would play music to entertain the guests on the way to the island, but in my case, apart from some music when embarking, on the boat there was 0 music. But this is OK, we just chilled in our plastic chairs watching the ocean. Another problem though is I did find the free chair seating arrangement a bit packed. I couldn’t extend my legs the entire time because that would touch the guests sitting opposite to me.

3. The island gave me the impression of dated, rundown, rural, unmanaged. There’re so many things I found to fall short of my expectation - everything was shabby, the toilet & shower area was dark and basic, there were only limited sunbathing chairs (and some of them broken and unrepaired), some of the huts were made out of wood/steel and honestly looked so basic and aesthetically wrong, there was half-grown grass and small debris everywhere which I supposed was meant to be cleaned up.

4. The lunch buffet was a let down (but to be fair, in comparison it was already better the other island tour we joined). The “unlimited” drinks selection was also a let down because of the limited choices (yes there was free flow wines but if they were awful, you would not want to have a second cup - but maybe poor quality should be expected since this is a free-flow? Perhaps, but I definitely expected something better given the slightly premium price of the tour).

Overall, the cruise and bottom glass boat, the island all felt dated. The staff didn’t make us feel friendly (in fact, they really barely smiled). But the waters around the island was beautiful, that’s for sure. You would probably enjoy if you did snorkeling (we even saw a small shark!)

As promised a great cruise relaxing on the island oh boy just great the staff went above and beyond to take of us kudos to the most loving caring team love you all will be back snd will recommend you to my friends and family

Even on a rainy day this cruise was a blast! The crew definitely made this day an awesome day out with the family. Food was also delicious, worth a second helping … Vinaka Gang. We shall be back for another cruise.
