Still waiting for refund due to unable to travel with covid restrictions well before planed trip in Easter 2020. Canceled with plenty of time. No reply with email, no reply to answer phone messages.

Nothing.

All other accommodations, airlines, transfers, and bookings for my big trip were canceled and even refunded well before Easter 2020.but nothing at all from Wananav resort.

Not even an apology.

I had stayed there in Easter 2019, and the stay was OK. Felt I would enjoy going again, and getting to know the area/resort better.

Sadly, no evidence of respect for visitors or booked visitors 2nd time around.

Will never be staying when reopens.

One of the many resorts on the coastal side of the Ra Province. Have to check it out for the experience of a good time.

Still waiting for them to refund us from March 2020. No response to emails & no answer to phone calls. We cancelled over 3 weeks before we needed to, to get our full refund but nothing has happened! Our cancellation was before they closed their doors. They had no problem taking our money out before hand. Does not make me want to ever rebook here. Other accommodation providers have been much better with contact etc.

We enjoyed our time at Wananavu. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We stayed in #50.had our own private pool, outdoor shower and WiFi (most of the time). The room was clean, AC did it’s best to keep up and kept things at a decent temp.

We went on the excursion to the “private” island.lunch was good, snorkeling was ok, the beach was very nice. Food at the resort fine, get the meal plan.we did a couple’s massage, very relaxing.

No TV.suggest you make a run down the road about 15-20 min and pick up some Vonu if you like beer with your beach, rain etc. That was an adventure in itself.

They lugged our baggage to and from.we tipped at the end about 10%. There is a box at reception the whole staff splits.

Went there for company retreat, we were treated like rubbish when we got there. Receptionist and securities were very rude. We were charged $150 for using cutleries when it should have been provided in rooms. Emailed and sent a text message to Beato (Hotel Manager) but got no response till date. Was a nightmare and would never recommend this place to anyone.

The reception lady was extremely rude. All the staff seemed to have absolutely no training in their job. They do not know how to talk. Very poor service. No potter service. The security drags your luggage in the rooms as there are no trolleys for bag. As I entered the room, it smelled like cockroach s and there was a can of insect spray ready for us. No phones and no TV in the rooms. No pool towels in the rooms and when requested for one, had to go through so many hurdles to get the towels. Very expensive place. Complete waste of money. Will never recommend anyone there. Might as well sleep in your car. What a disaster.

Room we were given was quite rundown. Not happy with it. Hideous lighting for the bedside lamp using halogen bulb. Nothing good to say about the food. The restaurant ambience is about the only nice feature with the live serenades.

Great hotel really friendly stuff. Dinner was ok, but really expensive. Make sure to have a rental car to drive somewhere.

I recently celebrated my 50th birthday with family here and Wananavu exceeded all our expectations. We were looking for a resort that is welcoming, relaxing and has good diving/snorkeling facilities - this resort ticks all those boxes and more. The staff are exceptional and go out of their way to make it as relaxed and yet adventurous as possible. George, the manager went above and beyond for my birthday celebrations. Haley & Shaun from the Dive Centre are excellent at taking care of your dive needs and the diving is spectacular. The snorkeling out at the reef (take the 15 minute boat trip) is like swimming in a beautiful aquarium full of colourful fish and coral. If you enjoy being pampered the massages are a must and if you can book into the villa on the hill, whether you are a family or larger group, this is just the icing on the cake! Highly recommend this resort, would definitely visit again.

It is an awesome place to stay and relax but the draw back is it's not for locals you get double standard of service despite spending the same amount of money

Great location. The water is beautiful. Fabulous kayaking above the reef with plenty fish and seastars. Also beautiful sundowner deck and restaurant /bar with amazing view! Simple accommodation but clean and in the beach bures the sand is at your doorstep. Would come back.

The only draw back is the cost, it's not bad but more expensive then elsewhere. Food was tasty and the diving exceeding my expectations. Id say the driving is worth the cost, staff was awesome. Dives really made the day. The beef salad was especially tasty, would not recommend the kokoda as it is less fish than anywhere else I've had it.

Rustic and managed by Fijians so it's just 100% chill works like a village. Loved it as a place for the family to relax, great snorkeling, tennis and dive shop so for us 5 star as nothing is a problem. The Bures are old but comfortable with new bathrooms, and every one has a view from the side of the hill. It's a bit of a hike so we hired a car at Nadi, drove 2.5 hours, that worked well as we explored a bit. If you want to party or want glamour definitely not for you it's 4 star at best if that is your vibe. Food and service is great, The dolphin and snorkeling tour excellent. The beach and pool is not that great but swimming from the steps outside the marina is great.

Lovely set up. Gardens are restful. Great area to walk with scuba diving and other activities available. Food was nice. Fish and chips not quite as nice as it should have been. Reasonable rates, accommodation a bit tired but very clean. Lovely bay and some nice spots to swim or snorkel

Wow factor plus! Very attractive setting made for lovers of watersports, pampering or just plain soaking up the sun. Definitely a place to enjoy.

Resort overall was great. Staff were friendly and facilities were in good condition. The restaurant overlooking the pool was lovely but eating at night had some local insects coming out of the floorboards so would recommend eating indoors in the evenings. The resort was clean overall and well presented.
