NEWWORLD IGA

What a horrible start to my week. For an online shopping that I did last night and was to be collected between 10-2 pm today, I went to pick up my shopping at the New World Damodar City. I was there after 2pm and left at 3: 40. Soo frustrated that I got there and all my items were not ready, my order list did not match their list and on top of that the Manager Anthony did not show an ounce of customer care, no apology for the huge delay in preparing the order. He just told one of his workers to note down my complaints. He rang his boss to tell him my complaint about not having an option providing my own bags rather than automatically being charged for their bags (i was charged for 16 bags!) and then he just left without telling me what was the end result of their conversation. I am not new to online shopping with this branch, but I am so frustrated that not even the manager tried to make the situation better. Customer service should be a memory verse for anyone working in Retail especially anyone who is in Manager position. This whole experience defeats the whole purpose of having Online Shopping am I right? Never again New World.

Friendly and helpful staff. Good variety of products and neatly stocked. Abit smaller in size compared to my preferred shopping location. A lot of shops nearby including a cinema. Good area to hangout

Best days to shop are on Thursdays and Fridays when their shelves are full and new stock is in.

The Newworld IGA, located at Damodar City, Suva, is an awesome place to go. The number of choices for good products is great. However, the attempt to cram as much as possible into the space they've got, creates a lot of traffic issues in the store as the aisle space is quite narrow. But other than that, produce is fresh, some of the things you get here, you can't find in other parts of the country. All in all, great store, just not a lot of room to move around

They have everything, lovely place to calmly attend to your shopping, some even have restaurants, they also have a bakery section and liquor section. Most items are a little pricey if imported.

Good choice in shopping although it tends to be on the pricey side. Their rotisserie chicken is quite popular however their coleslaw is a definite miss.

Shopping at IGA Griag St on Sundays is quite relaxing as the store is empty and shelves are generally well stocked. The store is clean and spacious, items are well labeled and displayed. Only downside is because business is slow on a Sunday morning so are the staff.

Great layout, spacious, good range of items available, tons of parking space. Something for everyone!

It's the place I shop. Good range of products. Easy shopping experience. Fairly priced for comfort.

Convenient location, clean supermarket, good management, fruits and vegetables, meat and bakery better quality than other supermarkets, ATMs, taxi available right outside, car park usually gets full.

Shopping at 10am on a Tuesday morning is so ideal.
I also picked up a few items that were on special.

My all grocery needs are fulfilled here including stationary. Economical and variety is another USP. I like to visit the place occasionally. Staff is also very supportive and friendly. Good job team Newworld.

Good place to shop and has variety of products. Located at a convenient place. Cleanliness is an area which can be improved upon as well as the spacing of the counters. It tends to get a bit congested.

Can the manager please advise when you will supply your Savusavu store with sherry.dry or medium dry for cooking. (or Labasa store). I am finding it difficult to contact the right person to speak with regarding my enquiry.

Good compared to Nadi, not much range for animal food or accessories, compared to Xtra Supermarket.

Ideally nestled within the Damodar City complex with access to convenient parking. Newworld IGA offers a variety of products at an affordable price and they adhere to the COVID-19 protocols.

Unable to take my son into the supermarket was no help at all. How can a mother leave her son outside while she shops? Pls try and cater for people who have kids and can't live them alone at home. If you don't allow kids to go into the supermarket with their parent/guardian, then pls have a special place where they could sit and be supervisored by a staff.

Good selection and one of the best customer service at Newworld Damodar shopping centre.highly recommended

Conveniently located, spacious shopping area especially moving around the aisles. Affordable prices and quality range of food and items. Neat layout of IGA standard.
