Great dive shop. Equipment is up to date, boat is comfortable and spacious, small groups and awesome staff. Highly recommend Koro Sun divers. The dive sites are varied, with a high chance of seeing Hammerhead sharks, turtles and rays.

Colin Skipper was a fantastic guide with 30+ years experience.

Awesome diving!

We were diving as a family (5 of us, a variety of skill levels) Collin looked after everyone very well, he ensured each of us had the best dive possible.
One of our party was nervous on their first dive and Collin held their hand until enough confidence had been built, highly professional.

Namena marine reserve is absolutely stellar and is a must dive spot, we saw plenty of sharks and dogtooth tuna which are just massive as well as a multitude of barracuda, batfish and beautiful coral gardens.

Dive with Collin. 10/10 first class operator 9/10 dad jokes

Thankyou Colin for 2 amazing dives! My husband is an experienced diver however I am not and Colin happily held my hand throughout both dives, ensuring I felt comfortable and continually had eyes my husband and the other person. Whilst the hammerheads didn't wish to be seen that day Colin ensured we had plenty to look at and enjoy. He knows the best dive sites for the weather conditions and choses accordingly. He also hires local Fijian staff - as some do not - (thankyou Captain Lai), had drinks on board and also towels which was lovely. This was my first trip into the "big blue" and I am still on a high for having a safe and very happy experience. Koro Sun diving is not part of the Koro Sun Resort, Colin will pick you up and he even kindly delivered some belongings left behind by my husband. Can't rate this business highly enough. Fantastic.

Colin was a great dive guide and provided us a great dive day! Highly recommend for anyone visiting SavuSavu that are looking for someone knowledgeable and fun!

Diving in Fiji is probably an amazing experience thanks to the setting but diving with Colin made it even better.
My husband and I are not super experienced divers (had done 10 dives before this) but Colin adapted perfectly to our needs. For the first of our dives, I had a small problem and panicked a bit under water and Colin made me calm, resolved it and ensured I enjoyed the rest of the dive, which I certainly did. For the following dives, we were much more confident and he made the dives a little adventure, passing through caves and ensuring we spotted all the curiosities of the area.
Diving with Colin has probably been my best diving experience to date and I would recommend him for newbies and experienced divers alike.

We had the pleasure of diving with Colin over two days during our stay in Savusavu. He was an excellent and very skilled dive master with extensive local knowledge. In spite of the difficult weather conditions he took us to excellent sites and out to the Namena marine reserve. We felt very safe diving with someone with so much experience. We would definately choose to dive with korosun again.

The dive sites were spectacular and really grateful for the healthy reefs and fish. We went out with Colin for the day, and have to comment that this is quite a hands off diving experience, and may not be right for people who are relatively new to diving, or haven’t gone on a dive for quite some time.

The BCDs we were given were inflating throughout our first tank dive, which Colin quickly took to repairing before our second dive. At certain times of our dive, we couldn’t see Colin at all, and not sure if he kept his eyes on us. There were times during the dives we were anxious, but thankfully I was with my boyfriend and we both offered each other reassurance under water, and knew that ultimately, we could surface and the boat would be there. I didn’t feel particularly protected or safe if something went wrong, but nothing did, so we came out on the right side of that concern. And thankful that we weren’t doing drift dives.

There aren’t many options for dive operators in Savusavu, but I would caution that you may need a certain frame of reference and level of experience before going out for the day. And FEELING safe before diving is just as much of a priority for me as actually being safe, and I didn’t feel particularly safe that day.

Also noting that this review may be replied to, potentially in defense, but it was our experience, and wanted to put it out there even if it helped 1 person to come prepared.

If it was possible to give 6 stars we would. We hadn't dived for nearly 20 years and Colin was the ultimate instructor, making us feel safe and confident while at the same time showing us the most incredible dive experiences. He has the ability to make everyone totally relaxed while at the same time exhibiting the highest levels of professionalism and safety. Colin went above and beyond our expectations to ensure we did 4 breathtaking dives, all spectacular in their own way.

Amazing time diving with Colin and Mark! I did my open water diving course with Mark, and he was a great teacher - taking the time to explain things thoroughly and always being patient. The team is fun to be around, and the sites we were taken to were stunning. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Definitely recommend if you are in Savusavu!

We flew to SavuSavu for four nights with the hopes to do some diving, reviews shows Koro Sun Diving as the best around (even the best in Fiji) - and they were not wrong.
Colin, the owner of Koro Sun Diving (don’t get confused with the Koro Sun Resort or a similar name and nearby) was amazing. He went above and beyond what any diving shop has ever done for us. He made bespoke plans to get us diving in the best places in Fiji, kept us up to date with plans and even arranged to get us diving in places over an hour transport away. A true hero!

Our diver master/instructor was Mark. He is an asset to the team. Very knowledgeable, friendly and you’d be lucky to have him as your guide for your diving.

Would highly recommend Koro Sun Diving to anyone heading to Fiji. We did diving in Yasawa Islands, which has nothing to compare to the beautiful sea life and corals that you can see up North.

Happy diving with Koro Sun!

Amazing! On the first dive we saw hammerheads! And turtles on the second. Staff is really great and professional, but also a lot of fun. I’ll definitely recommend diving with koroSun.

Wasn't going to post a review for here but after finding out a diver I met traveling also booked here and I wished I could've saved her the trouble. Honest review don't bother diving with this company if you are interested in seeing hammerheads in SavuSavu and you care about safety while diving. My husband and I got married in SavuSavu and were eager to celebrate and go on a hammerhead dive with our family. I found this company on Instagram with their gorgeous photos. Spent way to much money for an afternoon dive saying there's a 90% chance we will encounter hammerheads. My husband and I are dive instructors my brother, brother in law and father are advanced divers when we spoke about our dive plan the DM made a joke that since we are dive instructors he wouldn't have to worry about anything. I told him my brother will most likely run out of air when he's running low on air can you guide him back to the boat and we will continue diving all agreed and we start the dive. We spent 40 minutes swimming into the current into the blue not seeing one thing. We start heading back to the reef and my brother signals he's running low on air. I signal the guide and DM who are ages away from us and he gives the okay and continues to swim away.my brother now on 500 psi my dad takes him and heads to the boat. No one cares no one bothers to check. The DM and my brother in law also head up to the surface and it's just me my husband and the guide swimming in circles around a little reef for an hour using our air. We surface a very boring and stressful dive. When we return all they did was show us videos of the hammerheads we "could've" seen. We return to our beautiful resort down the street and they laugh because they knew what kind of dive it would be we end up booking snorkeling trips with our resort and enjoy a much better afternoon. Do not waste your time or money or put yourself in danger diving with this company.

Very awesome diving. Did the Hammerhead dive and saw a entire school (probably hundreds). Amazing time. Collin was super laid back and chill underwater. And other dive was purple garden which was really cool. Dove in April but took a while to do the reviews. Definitely recommend him.

Very professional and still relaxed dive shop! All the rental gear were brand new and we got to see the resident hammerheads on our first dive!
