Diveaway Fiji

Did 4 dives over 2 days with Diveaway and they were all fantastic! We saw plenty of sea life, including turtles, sharks and plenty of fish! The boys made the experience super easy, they even set up all our gear for us! Our dive masters Moji and Su were fantastic, very safe and very friendly! Would highly recommend to divers of any skill level - we hadn’t dived for a year before coming and there was no stress at all! Also big shoutout to Roberto, for handling the gear aboard the boat and getting us to and from the dive site smoothly!

Thanks Ash for your prompt replies to emails and organising the dive for me and my 2 children. Thank you to our instructor Nathan who showed us all the necessary skills to complete the discovery dive safely and really took care of the kids well. Had a brill 2 dives with Moije & skipper Steven at Fanny Hill & The Edge. Communication with owner Ash was very good & prompt by email beforehand, as I was staying further along the Coral Coast.
The dive was postponed due to Cyclone Mal and Ash himself arrived at our accomodation to strongly suggest rescheduling which I did. I was then collected at my door a few days later by Sib and brought to the Dive Ctre. My qualifications & experience were carefully checked by a really cheerful crew at the Dive Ctre. Gd quality gear was then issued and a very smooth and enjoyable cple of dives followed. Thanks to all the Team. Great to see a local, Fijian run business doing such a good quality
job.

Had an excellent experience on a dive with Nathan and Su. The foremost concern of the guys at Diveaway is safety and there was no compromise. To be allowed to dive we were subjected to a pool test to develop contingency plans for situations like water in the mask to ensure that we had fun in the water. The dive was amazing and we saw a reef shark and two sea turtles. Thank you very much to the boys at Diveaway for an amazing experience!

Bula, this was my first scooba dive and I was a bit nervous but the instructor Nathan was very patient and helped have this amaging experience!

As novices we experienced our first scuba dive. Nathan, the instructor was patient, clear and concise and offered non-stop support. 11/10 Thank you Nathan. When in Fiji don’t hesitate to join in this amazing experience.

Am a newly qualified diver and was nervous before coming. Ash's communication was prompt and made booking effortless. Is a business run out of hideaway resort. Had 2 dives out on the reef. All equipment supplied (good quality) Inc. Wetsuits. Mohji was a fantastic dive master who let me tag right behind him where I felt comfortable. Went through some swim-throughs which I had never done. Boat was easy to get in and out of (shout out to Catpain!) and heavy equipment was carried for us. Snorkellers were dropped off at a tranquil Island before our dive. Would choose to dive with them again!

Just had two dives with Captain Steve and Sue who were brilliant hosts. Sue was a great guide on our coral dive, and I'd recommend them both to potential divers looking for a spectacular dive.
I've already booked another dive they're that good!

Had a terrific experience, the trip out to the Reef and Island was so beautiful and the staff were so friendly, special shout out to Seru who went above and beyond to give a great snorkeling experience and got us some fresh coconuts?

Also should mention all the divers had a great experience as well, especially the wreck dive.

Great dive shop! Small groups, personalized experience and a very friendly staff. They met all of my needs and more! I would definitely dive with them again!

We had a great couple of days diving with Diveaway. The Great Wall was the pick of sites.
It was very relaxed, easy diving with the only difficulty being some minor surging that was easily navigated. Big thanks to Su who led our first day. He was very professional. Vinaka!

Best dive ever. You can swim with sharks, turtles and schools of tropical fishes. Dive master Mojee and captian Tape are so attentive that you can make the most of the dive spot.

Super friendly and professional! We booked a snorkelling tour with Sib who was amazing.
The tour itself is worth the money as you can see many more fish and corals

Our second time diving with these guys and we always have a great time! This time we took our niece for her first dive and were really well looked after. So friendly and fun, Sue is the man! Saw a sea turtle and have heard their shark dives are fantastic.

I did two double dives with Diveaway Fiji while staying at Outriggers. They are a really fun, helpful team and I had two great days diving with them. Su was the Divemaster on both and was great to dive with, and chose dives appropriate to the competency of the divers. Great diving and recommended dive team.

If you came to Fiji for a diving trip, then Diveaway is the number one pick. The staffs are full of passion and knowledge, they are patient and super reliable when it comes to both diving lessons and activities. It is the best choice for both beginners and very advanced divers, you can always expect to have an amazing experience with each dive. Equipment wise, feel free to leave your own gear at home, because diveaway provides some of the newest gear that functions like brand new. Also, for certified divers, make sure to book a shark diver session, you won’t regret it.

We were lucky enough to be part of Diveaways first trip to Beqa Lagoon in their new boat ‘Aquarius’! My daughter and I did two amazing dives with Ash - the Seven Sisters and the Golden Arch With a break and snacks on the most beautiful little island beach in paradise. Ash and the boys were amazing and we could not recommend Diveaway highly enough! Vinaka Diveaway!

Top notch dive shop and one of the best PADI Dive academy and team in Fiji. Communication and Service from Ash and his team has been absolutely effortless throughout and have got me and my partner certified as Open Water Divers from our referral status coming from another resort.

We are absolutely satisified with the service and professionalism throughout our 4 Open Water Dives with Diveaway Fiji and Apo (Our diving instructor) who has guided us with great professionalism to show us the beautiful reefs the Fijian reefs has to offer. Dive spots are great as well which is icing on the cake.

Highly recommended if you want to get your PADI certification or if you have a referral and need your open water dives.

Diveaway failed to ensure the cost of the scuba was billed to our room at Outrigger Resort. We had informed them the afternoon before at 3pm that we were checking out the next morning; they even advised us to request a later checkout, so they were well aware of timing.

Knowing that we were staying in town for the remainder of our trip, they came looking for us and confronted us in person 1. Without a copy of our bill 2. Accused us for not paying for the dive and having “walked out and conned” them.

As far as we were aware, it was charged to our room and I even signed the invoice on the day of booking the dive. We had absolutely no intentions of “walking out” on a bill, especially being a local and disclosing our location in town (which is how they found us)

It’s not my responsibility to cross check my entire week’s bill at the resort to ensure that one activity was charged. Would recommend not accusing your customers from the get go.

Pretty sure there’s some breach of privacy here for confronting people in person.

Diveaway took me SCUBA diving for my first time this holiday. It was phenomenal. Thanks to the team for an amazing experience from start to finish. Apo and Mojee were great instructors; calm and informative throughout. I wasn't expecting to go on a deep dive this holiday and didn't have a dive housing for my GoPro so it stopped working after about 5m depth when the pressure depressed the buttons and turned it off, so didn't capture any good footage, but I saw heaps of colourful fish, a Moray eel, an octopus, colour changing coral and the little coral nursery where the baby coral had been planted for future growth. My kids were most disappointed I didn't see any turtles, though!? Thanks again Diveaway! When I'm back in Fiji in future, I will come back to dive with you. Great to support a locally owned and operated business, who clearly provides excellent service with a stellar product!
