Australian High Commission

Pathetic service of suva office, I am Australian Citizen and tired of calling and emailing them. Litterly no one is replying everytime we call the reply is "sorry we closed" m wondering if office close all the time who is processing files there?

It's been 23 months i am waiting for my husbands 309 visa and 4 month for 600 visitor visa. Seriously really geting anxiety and feeling helpless

They simply will not respond to emails - waited 3 weeks and no response. You cannot talk to anyone because the receptionist is a master in the art of obfuscation.

She keeps telling me to send an email and I keep getting an automated email saying "we will respond within 5 days".

What have we done to receive this high handed colonialist attitude?

Terrible. I ask for help on my visa, called by phone on 12 of August at 15: 30 and the woman on the phone was horrible. Really rude with me and she even hang me up twice. Helpless. Please, take on consideration who is picking up the calls, the service now is too bad.

Pathetic service. Unable to get through. They give you up to 28 days to receive your visa or a response. 28 days has lapsed, I've had no responses to my emails and I've been following up, tried calling them and they said to just keep following up as that is all they can do so now I'm following up a follow up. I've been following up since day 20. Ugh!

Don't know why it's taken so long to receive a visitors visa to Australia. It shouldnt take this long. They have the same response everytime I call, I feel like I'm talking to a bunch of robots. No interest in actually looking into my case. So typical of service in Fiji. You would expect the Aus High Commission would be different. All the same. Not even a dam response.

Arrogant, uncaring, incompetent, inconsistent and they take twice as long to process visas than their stated timeframes. I hate dealing with these bloody-minded bureaucratic morons. Clearly they care little about the ramifications of their decisions. After 46 days, I am STILL waiting on a simple Visitor (600) visa for my Micronesian wife who has had visas before, is of good character and who has successfully completed a medical. What is wrong with these people. Clearly we do not employ the best staff and they make me embarrassed to be an Australian.

Terrible staff on the phone. Not helping and rude.
